Every season is different as are needs in different locations, so keep that in mind and perhaps you will want to do something similar for your particular part of the world.

Spring

• Weed and feed lawn
• Start preparing gardens
• Clean flower beds
• Rake and bag leaves and debris
• Start new landscaping
• Prepare patio for summer fun
• Spring clean the house
• Refurbish lawn mowers and tillers
• Take time to enjoy the new season
• Prepare and repair pool
• Check and clean sprinkler system

Summer

• Water plants in evening or early morning
• Keep plants trimmed back from air-conditioning unit
• Change air filters on a regular basis
• Use fans indoors with air-conditioning to keep air flow at a maximum
• Stay cool and enjoy your home and yard

Autumn

• Repair decks along with painting or staining
• Paint exterior of house and trim
• Clean-up summer tools
• Clean and mend gutters
• Fertilize flowers and garden
• Plant bulbs
• Clean up lawn area
• Prepare bird feeders
• Winterize the car

Winter

• When shoveling snow, do a little at a time for your health's sake
• Take your kids or grandkids for a winter walk
• Trim trees back after sap stops flowing
• Keep tree branches trimmed for less damage during ice and snow
• After each snow or rain check for roof damage

• Seal around doors and windows
